Radically efficient
Up to 94% lower operating cost per flight hour than incumbent twin-engine HEMS helicopters, with 35 to 40% fuel savings in gyroplane cruise.

A gyroplane-helicopter that takes off vertically from anywhere, cruises on a rotor that cannot stall, and flies for a fraction of the cost of a conventional HEMS helicopter.
The Avectra 101 is not a modified helicopter. It is a hybrid gyroplane-helicopter engineered from a clean sheet for the aeromedical mission, combining the vertical access of a helicopter with the inherent safety and efficiency of gyroplane flight.
The result is an aircraft that can reach a rooftop, a roadside or a mountainside, then cross the distance to a trauma centre on a stable, low-drag, fuel-sipping cruise.

A powered rotor lifts the aircraft vertically for take-off and landing. True vertical operations from rooftops, roadsides, mountains and helipads, with no runway and no large landing zone required.
In forward flight the rotor autorotates freely with no engine power driving it, an inherently stable, low-drag profile that burns far less fuel.
Because the rotor is already autorotating, an engine failure results in a controlled glide to the ground, not a freefall. Vortex ring state and tail-rotor failure are engineered out entirely.

Up to 94% lower operating cost per flight hour than incumbent twin-engine HEMS helicopters, with 35 to 40% fuel savings in gyroplane cruise.
Operates in higher winds, tighter sites and more challenging terrain, reaching patients when conventional aircraft are grounded.
A stretcher-configured cabin equipped for advanced critical care in flight: monitoring, ventilation, transfusion and more.
Telemedicine-ready so operators can keep a specialist linked to the crew and patient throughout every mission.
